Grand Theater's one year anniversary celebration!
December 1st - 7th
December 1st - 7th
The last week of November is the Grand Theater’s one year anniversary! Our thanks to the thousands of folks who have patronized the Grand, the hundreds of volunteers who serve the community by operating the theater, and the many donors who continue to support our non-profit Foundation. You too could be all three – think about it.
To celebrate our one-year anniversary, from December 1st – 7th, ticket holders at each movie are welcome to a complimentary small plain popcorn! Additionally, there will be movie posters and gift certificates randomly given away at each movie. Please join us as we celebrate our one year anniversary!
The response from our community over our first year has been excellent. Many have told us how much they appreciate having a modern, clean and affordable theater showing first run films and live entertainment so close to home. Dylan Morse, President of the Grand Theater Foundation, says: “The overwhelmingly positive response from the community has been wonderful and the board is thrilled the Theater’s renewal has been so popular.”
The Grand strives to engage a wide audience by programming a regularly changing selection of different genres and titles appealing to many diverse tastes. We try to accommodate the suggestions and various needs of our audience, including: assistive devices for sight or hearing impaired patrons, summertime weekday matinees, and the Upstairs – Downstairs initiative that guarantees all movie titles are screened in both theaters at least a couple of times during each run.
Some figures from the past 12 months:
80 different movies screened
320 + registered volunteers
3,000 + gift certificates issued
15,050 popcorns served
16,019 candy bars sold
18,302 sodas served
32,129 admissions
